TNW Hack Battle – Battle of the Sensors
Algemene informatie
The Hack Battle hackathon op de TNW Conference zal zich, als eerst event ooit, omtoveren tot een IoT sandbox door het plaatsen van een grid van sensoren op het hele terrein. Afvalmeting, voetverkeer, spraakherkenning, energiegebruik – dit zijn nog maar een aantal van de datapunten die de sensors zullen registreren. Tijdens de Battle of the Sensors zullen 200 developers en ontwerpers 36 uur lang prototypes van applicaties ontwikkelen, gebruik makend van deze datapunten en van de API’s van de partners.
Aan het einde van de hackathon zullen alle hacks worden gepresenteerd op de TNW Conference voor een groot publiek van industrie experts.

General information
The Hack Battle hackathon at TNW Conference is set to become the first ever event to turn into an IoT sandbox, by placing a grid of sensors throughout the entire terrain. Waste measurement, foot traffic, speech recognition, energy use – these are just a few of the data points the sensors will be registering. During the Battle of the Sensors 200 developers and designers will spend 36-hours on developing prototypes of applications based on these data points and the API’s of the partners.
At the end of the battle all hacks will be presented at TNW Conference in front of a large audience of industry experts.
